HARTFORD CT- Harc’s 29th Annual Auction, “Sparking Possibilities,” held on November 11, 2017, at the Hartford/Windsor Marriott, was a lively gathering of Harc families and friends, Board members, Community Partners and Sponsors, volunteers and many other supporters of the organization. The event featured both a silent and live auction, dinner, and dancing. Powerstation Events’ President, Al Vagnini and Director of Business Development, Liz LaCava were chosen as the recipients of Harc’s inaugural “Sparking Possibilities” award. Hosted by Joe Furey of News8, this year’s event raised over $219,000 with the aid of Auctioneer, John Motley. All of the proceeds will help support the life-long programs and services Harc provides to its 2,200 participants and families throughout Greater Hartford.
Al and Liz’s long history with Harc has been extremely rewarding on many levels. They have been dedicated to the important role that Harc plays in the care and advocacy for people with intellectual disability in Connecticut. Powerstation Events has provided support and services over these many years and couldn’t be happier to see that their donations and services have helped Harc to continue its programs and services to those in need.
Harc, Inc. is very grateful to The Harc Family and all its supporters: Community Partners and Sponsors, members of the Auction Committee, staff, volunteers and the many generous donors and ad purchasers who made this year’s Sparking Possibilities a success.
